Requires a jailbroken Kindle · Models released in 2018 or later
Reeden does not provide jailbreak methods, tools or support. Please research it yourself, at your own risk.
With KPM, Reeden shows up as a book in your library. Without it, launch Reeden from the KUAL menu.
Kindle models released in 2018 or later. 512MB models turn on Low-memory mode by default, which keeps large books and PDFs stable.
Download the .zip above and unzip it on your computer. You get three folders: reeden, extensions and documents.
Connect your Kindle with a USB cable. Newer models (2021 and later) appear as MTP devices; on a Mac, use OpenMTP or Android File Transfer.
Copy the three folders to the root of your Kindle and choose Merge when asked. Your existing books and plugins are kept.
Eject the Kindle. A book called “Reeden” appears in your library. Open it to start Reeden.
The “安装说明.txt” file in the zip has full steps for usage, upgrading, uninstalling and troubleshooting. See also the documentation.
